With years in the making, The Grandmaster now gets a new trailer and UK poster.
The trailer goes away from the first poster to concentrate on who Ip Man is.
The poster, on the other hand, is dull and depressing compared to the trailer. Not only that, I feel it doesn’t show the film in the same way that the trailer does. It makes it out to be more of an action film whereas the trailer makes it look more like a drama.
Six years in the planning and three years in the making, THE GRANDMASTER is an epic action feature inspired by the life and times of the legendary kung fu master, Ip Man. The story spans the tumultuous Republican era that followed the fall of China’s last dynasty, a time of chaos, division and war that was also the golden age of Chinese martial arts.
