Cobain: Montage of Heck gets a trailer

The trailer for Cobain: Montage of Heck has hit the web. It’s one of the most amazing trailers for a documentary I’ve seen in a very long time. So long, I can’t remember one that makes the film look soo good.

It’s got an interesting mix of styles. Animation, what looks like rotoscoping, the normal home video as well as talking head interviews with friends and family. Even so, it does make me want to go and see if, assuming it’s playing somewhere near where I am.

There are also some, in a way, silly little animations made from some of the doodles in his notebooks. Some did make me smile, in a strange sort of way.

As we’ve already had some images and a poster, I’ve decided to put some frames from the aminated sequences from the above trailer.
