Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment is thrilled to announce that following an incredible one-night-only theatrical release, the award-winning West End hit Heathers: The Musical will be streaming exclusively on Icon Film Channel from 1st May. The release will include a special 10-minute ‘Behind The Scenes at The Other Palace’ bonus feature.
Based on the 1989 cult classic film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, the musical adaptation follows Westerberg High student Veronica Sawyer, whose dreams of popularity finally start to come true when she’s taken under the wings of the three beautiful, yet impossibly cruel Heathers. But when mysterious new kid, teen rebel J.D arrives in town, Veronica realises that whilst it might kill to be a nobody, it’s murder being a somebody…
Heathers: The Musical will be coming exclusively to Icon Film Channel for one month on 1st May, available after signing up for a 7-day free trial at iconfilmchannel.uk, via the app (Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung Smart TV, Amazon Fire, Roku, Xbox, iOS, Android), or on the Amazon Prime Video channel. Following this run, the stage recording will be coming to DVD & Blu-Ray as well as digital platforms from 5th June.
Fans of the musical are in for some treats as the special edition DVD & Blu-Ray will boast exciting UK exclusive extras including a limited edition film poster, Behind The Scenes at The Other Palace feature (10 mins), Extended Interviews with Cast & Crew (13 mins) and a Sing-Along Version (Blu-Ray Exclusive).
