B3 Media continue to support BAME artists with new development programme ‘CREATIVE CATALYST’

Creative CatalystB3 Media has launched a brand new creative talent development programme! Applications are open now and will close 28 November 2019. Creative Catalyst is aimed at 18 – 25 year olds who are at the beginning of their creative journey.

Launched as a partner programme to TalentLab, B3 Media’s alumni will return to pass on what they’ve learnt to Creative Catalyst finalists. Creative Catalyst aims to help young emerging BAME creatives experimenting with a variety of digital media to get their careers to a flying start and put them on the fast track. The programme welcomes the ambitious, the curious and those who want to stretch their abilities as creative practitioners.

B3 Media has a proven track record of developing and producing innovative programmes and projects that create opportunities to celebrate and showcase emerging diverse talent, who are underrepresented in mainstream media.

12 finalists will be invited to take part in a taster session and then in a series of workshops over three days in early January 2020. The workshops will be focused on film, spoken word, and virtual reality. During this programme, finalists will transform their ideas throughout the development process, learn hands-on skills, and gain confidence in their creative process.

This programme will lead to a final showcase where finalists pitch to a panel of judges composed of industry experts as well as an audience of friends, family and members of local community. All participants will also work on a personal development plan with a B3 executive throughout the duration of the 6 week programme.
