The first thing that hit me from watching the trailer for Vs. is that it’s “a British version of 8 mile“.
It is an interesting subject to make a British film out of. However, it does seem to hold together but the sub-plot of his mother doesn’t seem to give the same impact as the rest. Then again it does need that to make it a gritty drama!
