THE VAMPS LEND THEIR VOICES TO KUNG FU PANDA 3
Connor Ball and James McVey have cameo roles in the film
Yesterday, fresh from recording their own version of Kung Fu Fighting for the soundtrack, two members of British band The Vamps, have been cast in cameo voice roles in the upcoming DreamWorks Animation feature Kung Fu Panda 3.
Playing the parts of two geese, James and Connor will appear in the UK release of the film, in a scene alongside Jack Black’s much loved character Po.
McVey and Ball said: “We had so much fun voicing the roles of the geese in Kung Fu Panda 3 and it was such an honour to be part of such an incredible cast. We love Kung Fu Panda and can’t wait for everyone to see the film!”
THE VAMPS, who are currently touring their second album ‘Wake Up’, have recorded a brand new version of ‘Kung Fu Fighting’ especially for the film, which appears over the end credits. The song and accompanying Kung Fu Panda-themed music video have been released globally on the official soundtrack of the film.
When Po’s long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible – learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!
