The brand new poster for the upcoming film about Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy, Stan & Ollie have arrived. I don’t think its as good as the first, teaser, poster that we saw back in July.
The film premiered at the Closing Night Gala of the LFF, Sunday 21st October, with the following talent in attendance Steve Coogan, John C Reilly, Nina Arianda, Shirley Henderson, Jon S. Baird and Jeff Pope, as well as great granddaughter of Stan Laurel, Cassidy Cook and we’ve been sent a nice set of images from the red carpet.
The true story of Hollywood’s greatest comedy double act, Laurel and Hardy, is brought to the big screen for the first time. Stan & Ollie is the heart-warming story of what would become the pair’s triumphant farewell tour.
With their golden era long behind them, the pair embark on a variety hall tour of Britain and Ireland. Despite the pressures of a hectic schedule, and with the support of their wives Lucille and Ida – a formidable double act in their own right – the pair’s love of performing, as well as for each other, endures as they secure their place in the hearts of their adoring public.
