“Medical Detectives” returns to true crime channel CBS Reality with Season 15. Produced in the US under the title “Forensic Files”, this cult investigative series that first aired more than 20 years ago, has been rebooted after an eight-year hiatus due to popular demand.
A pioneer in the field of fact-based, high-tech dramatic storytelling, the show delves into the world of forensic science; profiling intriguing crimes, accidents and outbreaks of diseases from around the world featuring scientists and investigators at the top of their game. Acclaimed film, stage and television actor Bill Camp narrates the series.
In the first weekly instalment of episodes we see the forensic investigations behind a sexual encounter that goes horribly wrong, a woman without an enemy in the world meeting her watery grave, a Yale student mysteriously vanishing before her wedding, and a fire that leads investigators to re-examine an unusual death.
“Medical Detectives” Season 15 premieres Thursday 10th September at 10pm on CBS Reality, with double bills every Thursday and Friday until 2nd October.
