Plaion Pictures is thrilled to confirm the release of new horror, Killer Whale. The upcoming creature feature will be available across all major digital platforms from 18th May.
Killer Whale is directed by Jo-Anne Brechin (Paper Champions) and co-written with Katharine McPhee (Love Is In The Air).
Killer Whale is a gripping survival thriller centred around best friends, Trish and Maddie, who find themselves locked into a deadly face-off against the ocean’s apex predator: the orca. With a dark cloud of the past hanging over them, will they make it out alive or become a part of the food chain?
Note: To date, there have been no fatalities involving orcas in the wild. The only four recorded fatalities have come from captive orcas. Multiple studies have shown however that due to their intelligence, whales & orcas, much like humans can often suffer suffer from poor mental while in captivity.
