The Movie Partnership are excited to share that their star-studded new film, Tell It Like A Woman, will be released in the UK on Digital Download from 8th May.
Made up of seven short stories, directed by eight extraordinary female directors, starring seven acclaimed female actors, and shot all over the world, the Academy Award-nominated Tell It Like A Woman tells the empowering stories of women, both in front of and behind the camera.
The film has eight incredible female filmmakers at the helm, from Lucia Bulgheroni (Inanimate), Silvia Carobbio, Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight), Taraji P. Henson (Empire) and Mipo O (Being Good) to Lucía Puenzo (Dive), Maria Sole Tognazzi (Me, Myself & Her) and Leena Yadav (Parched).
The outstanding talent continues in front of the camera with Margherita Buy (Mia Madre), Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad), Jacqueline Fernandez (Aladin) and Oscar Winners Marcia Gay Harden (The Morning Show) and Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls) starring. The film also features Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Pauletta Washington (Genius) and Anne Watanabe (Cube).
The film was celebrated at the recent 2023 Academy Awards, receiving a nomination for Best Original Song for “Applause” by legendary songwriter, Diane Warren. In addition, the film has attracted acclaim at multiple festivals, including winning Best Film Production at the Los Angeles Italia Film Festival.
