Katniss is the Rebel Warrior

Earlier today saw the launch of the first poster of Katniss in the upcoming third film in The Hunger Games series. It’s not a very inspiring poster. All we see is Katniss’ back with her trademark bow & arrows.

I would have preferred to see Jennifer’s face and not just what we have.

If you are a fan of the books then, like me, you are wondering where the cut-off point will be. I have my own idea of where it should be cut. I maybe right, I maybe wrong but it’s always good to play the guessing game.

This is going to be a massive change for Katniss as she comes to terms on how much an icon she has become. She doesn’t realise, exactly, how much of an impact her times in the games have become. She is the glowing beacon of the resistance in District 13 as well as the inspiration on the rebellions in the other districts.

How will she cope with that as well as losing Peeta to President Snow and the Capitol? Only time will tell.

The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta and a nation moved by her courage.

Flying into UK cinemas November 20, 2014
