Before I say anything about this film, I have to state my position. I didn’t cover the original film but I was asked nicely to run this for The Conjuring 2. This is the sort of horror film that I don’t like. To much played towards the old shock-scare not by good characters and plot development. That could be the problem of the film as it’s just taken the clichéd, easy, way out.
That out of the way, if you like that sort of horror then this film is definitely for you. You’ve probably seen the first film so you’ll already know the characters and basic premise of the series.

Reprising their roles, Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga (“Up In the Air,” TV’s “Bates Motel”) and Patrick Wilson (the “Insidious” films), star as Lorraine and Ed Warren, who, in one of their most terrifying paranormal investigations, travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.
