On Friday 28th April, The Neurodiverse Club will be hosting a special screening at the Charlotte Street Hotel in London. This one-time event brings eight brilliant short films celebrating and embracing autism to the big screen to raise money and awareness for The National Autistic Society during Autism Awareness Month 2023. Following the screening there will be an exclusive Q&A with the filmmakers to allow audiences to ask questions and break the stigma and preconceptions about what autism is.
Tickets are available for FREE so you can donate as much or as little as you like – all donations will go to the National Autistic Society.

It was shot entirely with a Super 8 film video camera by DOP Jakob Pegler. A technique of in-camera editing was used in its creation. The film has an accompanying score produced by Ben Smith.

This ten-minute documentary provides a refreshing look on autism to push people to rethink the misconceptions that many have prematurely shown on the disability. Malaika is seven years old and is on the spectrum – One Piece of the Puzzle merges observational documentary, interviews and archive footage to provide audiences with an all rounded view of Malaika and how he has grown with his autism.
