Earlier today Stephen Fry launched the poster for the 2015 EE British Academy Film Awards.
I do like the poster in a couple of ways. First its simplicity. Taking you back to a gentler time. The other is the nice trick of showing you the whole process of what happens on the night in one simple shadow. From the nomination envelope being opened to the winner taking their award.
It’s a poster that could have worked for the first award ceremony in 1949
The EE British Academy Awards will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC Three on Sunday February 8, 2015
