The new submarine thriller, Hunter Killer, has released its first trailer. It does look like a fun version of what Gerard Butler has been in before, that being the Olympus has fallen series. Just think of that set under water with Mike Banning having to save the Russian president instead of the American one.
There are a couple of shots, at the start of the trailer, that shows our hero’s submarine with a DSRV attached and then in the next clip it’s gone. It could just be because of the way the trailer has been cut together but it is a little jarring.
Deep under the Arctic Ocean, American submarine Captain Joe Glass is on the hunt for a U.S. sub in distress when he discovers a secret Russian coup is in the offing, threatening to dismantle the world order. With crew and country on the line, Captain Glass must now assemble an elite group of Navy SEALs to rescue the kidnapped Russian president and sneak through enemy waters to stop WWIII.
