Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation are delighted to announce that UK-based presenter, podcaster and DJ Vogue Williams voices a cameo role in the DreamWorks Animation’s Gabby’s Dollhouse: TheMovie, the first ever cinematic adventure based on the global smash streaming series.
Since the debut of the Gabby’s Dollhouse series in 2021, kids around the world have been having one big sprinkle party with Gabby and her friends on Netflix. This year, according to Nielsen, the Gabby’s Dollhouse series has been the most-viewed streaming original series for kids.
In the new film, Gabby heads out on a road trip with her Grandma Gigi to the urban wonderland of Cat Francisco. But when Gabby’s dollhouse, her most prized possession, ends up in the hands of an eccentric cat lady named Vera, Gabby sets off on an adventure through the real world to get the Gabby Cats back together and save the dollhouse before it’s too late.
The all-star comedic voice cast includes SaturdayNight Live powerhouses Ego Nwodim, Kyle Mooney and Melissa Villaseñor, as well as Emmy nominee Thomas Lennon (Reno911!, American Dad!), and Jason Mantzoukas (Invincible, Big Mouth). The beloved series voice cast reprises their roles as Pandy Paws, CatRat, Cakey, DJ Catnip, Baby Box,MerCat and more.
In the U.K., Vogue Williams voices Refrigerator, the bright and fun talking fridge who assists the Gabby Cats in their quest.
Speaking about her role, Vogue says; “I’m thrilled to be involved in such a fantastic franchise. My daughter Gigi is a huge fan of Gabby’s Dollhouse and I’m absolutely delighted to have a part in this movie!” Teasing the new film, she says “there’ll be plenty more fun and adventure with Gabby and the Gabby Cats in the film, as they make new friends along the way.
