An incredible story that has taken 50 years to tell – May Pang shares details of her 18-month love affair (1973-1975) with Lennon, a relationship orchestrated by Yoko Ono herself.

A fascinating insight into a lesser-known chapter in Lennon’s life and the relationship that shaped a prolific period for Lennon post-Beatles, a time which included the hit albums ‘Mind Games’, ‘Walls and Bridges’ (which included his only #1 hit single), and collaborations with David Bowie, Elton John, Harry Nilsson, Mick Jagger and Ringo.

Speaking about the film May Pang said “For nearly fifty years, I’ve read and heard many authors, experts, “friends” and acquaintances recount my life — few of whom were actually there! For the most part, their recollections are skewed at best; my story has become part of a myth created by Yoko and John for public consumption. A lot of people think my time with John, known as Lennon’s “Lost Weekend,” was literally just a crazy weekend in Los Angeles. Others know John and I were officially together for a year and half and made a life together and loved each other. Few realize that our relationship lasted from 1970 until the day he died. I felt the world needed to know the truth and I needed to tell it! My life story happens to correspond with the most prolific, successful and interesting period of John Lennon’s solo career. This feature documentary gives you a glimpse into our private life and takes you on a journey through my eyes.
