Actress Noomi Rapace (Girl With A Dragon Tattoo), actor Samuel West (Darkest Hour, Suffragette) and Sonic Youth musician Thurston Moore were among the stars of stage and screen attending a Gala Screening of critically-acclaimed new film Annette held earlier today at London’s Picturehouse Central cinema.
They were joined by actor Amir El-Masry (Limbo) and actress Hayley Bishop (Host) alongside Annette’s director Leos Carax (Holy Motors).
They joined the audience for the special screening of the new epic musical which stars Oscar nominee Adam Driver (Marriage Story), Oscar winner Marion Cotillard (La Vie En Rose), and Simon Helberg (Big Bang Theory) with original story and music by written by Ron Mael and Russell Mael of Sparks.
The Gala Screening was held by MUBI in celebration of the film’s UK & Ireland theatrical release on Friday 3 September. Audiences were treated to an early screening of the film and a Q&A with director Leos Carax.
