From the mind behind Game of Thrones, we have a sci-fi horror. The trailer seems to indicate that this is a formulaic take on the genre. A mix of Event Horizon and The Thing seems to be the inspiration. There doesn’t seem to be any dragons or nakedness.
The trailer does seem to indicate that the series will tick all the boxes if you want to make a cliché list of science fiction horror. It has it all. Malfunctions, strange things happening and finally people randomly dying.
With all that ranting, it does look an enjoyable romp through the cosmos. It maybe a lot less than a cliché ridden drudge of a series. Here’s hoping.
It will be available on Netflix, as long as you’re not in the USA as that will be shown on SyFy instead.
