Yestreday the BFI London Film Festival gathered many of the talented female filmmakers premiering work at this year’s LFF, together with London film professionals and Artistic Director of the Festival Tricia Tuttle and Chief Executive of the BFI Amanda Nevill. In total over 80 women joined together in celebration.

NOTE: 2018 BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL – 38% female directors across the programme, 50% of films in Official Competition and Short Film Competition directed or co-directed by female directors and 60% of films in the First Feature Competition with a female Director.
