Guillermo del Toro is back with a new supernatural tale with Crimson Peak.
Watching the, teaser, trailer makes me think of a cross between The Wolfman and Pan’s Labyrinth. It does, in a way, just have the feel of any other del Toro film that is set in the 19th century.
He is, however, very good at this type of film. You can tell that from the trailer.
Even if what I have just said, it has to be a must see for anybody who loves del Toro as a director
In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds…and remembers.
