Our favourite Ewok will make an appearance at Manchester Comic Con over the weekend of July 19-20.
Warwick Davies, who is best known for playing Wicket in Return of the Jedi. Not only that, for newer fans, Professor Filius Flitwick in the Harry Potter movies.
He will be appearing on stage with Red Dwarf’s Robert Llwewllyn and “YouTube superstar” Stuart Ashens on the Saturday.
He adds to the already star-packed event that includes the stars of Red Dwarf, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones and Primeval.
Warwick’s acting career is epic. In addition to playing the Ewok Wicket in Return Of The Jedi and Professor Filius Flitwick in the Harry Potter movies, he has starred in the fantasy film Willow, the Leprechaun horror franchise and Ricky Gervais’ comedy Life’s Too Short. Other big screen credits include playing Marvin in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Labyrinth and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, while TV appearances include Extras, Merlin and Doctor Who.
Star Wars and Harry Potter star Warwick Davis is the latest special guest to be confirmed for this weekend’s MCM Manchester Comic Con, event organisers have announced. As well as meeting fans and signing autographs, Davis will be appearing onstage with YouTube superstar Stuart Ashens and Red Dwarf’s Robert Llewellyn on the Saturday of the show to promote their latest film, Ashens And The Quest For The Gamechild.
Due to record advance sales, only General Entry Sunday tickets are still available online.
That’s the bad news. The good news is that tickets are available on the door on both days of the show.
