Warner Bros sent over a little while ago the first image of Henry Cavill as Superman.
It’s a very dull image. It has the feel of 300, Watchmen or Sin City to it. I think it’s the rain they’ve put into the shot. I would put it closer to some of the images that came out of Sin City. However, it will get a lot of fanboz drooling over it. But that’s what they do anyway!
Not only that, it does seem that they have had a good go with photoshop to do something to his head. The evidence that I will put to the court is the two images below. One is from Man Of Steel and the other is this new image.
Both images are / were the first one released for the film. One is from a scene being filmed and the other is just Henry standing in front of a “green screen” and then cut out. I seems to be the exact opposite of the last image we saw from the film. That one was from the set and not touched up.
Enough of my critique of the image. This is the image and you can make up your own mind. If you think I’m wrong you can always put a comment below.
There still isn’t a real synopsis but what we have tells you nothing. I’m not sure what to feel about that. Is it because they are still writing the film as they shoot it or something more problematic is happening?
