Two great bits of news has hit earlier today. The first is that Star Trek: Discovery will get a second season… Hopefully many more than that.
It was released via Twitter with the below tweet. That’s all we know but expect it to be hitting your small screen late 2018

The first six episodes of Star Trek: Discovery are currently available to stream on Netflix. All new episodes are available weekly on Mondays, exclusively for Netflix subscribers globally (apart from US & Canada). Star Trek: Discovery will air in two chapters. The final episode of chapter one will début on Monday, Nov. 13, and the second chapter, featuring the remaining six episodes, will return in January 2018.
Star Trek: Discovery follows the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new life forms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself. The series will feature a new ship and new characters, while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.
