Oh, the Boov is back with a new trailer for Home.
This one shows a lot more of how much of a klutz Oh is. With his accidental destruction of planets and some of his own people, he is on the run. He ends up with a girl, Tip, and then go on the adventure of both of their lives! Oh, and also saving hte planet on the way.
The trailer does have some great gags. An homage to Garfield toys from the 80s as well as some “toilet humour”. Take that literally not figuratively!
After looking at the cast, I was worried as I have suffered, sorry, watched Rihanna’s big screen début. That being the colossal flop Battleship. This on the other hand is just her acting using her voice. She does it well.
The other person who jumped out at me that did give me a little wobble was Steve Martin. A person who was funny until the early 90s and then something went wrong in his career. Anyone remember the film Sergeant Bilko? This one, on the other hand, he has managed to get a film that looks great and should help his careerer.
When Earth is taken over by the overly-confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated, while all Boov get busy reorganizing the planet. But when one resourceful girl, Tip, manages to avoid capture, she finds herself the accidental accomplice of a banished Boov named Oh. The two fugitives realize there’s a lot more at stake than intergalactic relations as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime.
