Blade Runner, the sequel, is about to start principle photography. With that news, we have been sent over the first image for the film. It’s just a concept drawing that shows us what the film may look like. For me, it looks like they will be filming it in an old airship hanger or here.
An official synopsis hasn’t been released, as yet, but this is what has been released about the film. It’s good news for die hard Blade Runner fans. It’s written by one of the writers of the original and Deckard is back!
The sequel is set several decades after the 1982 original, with Harrison Ford reprising his iconic role as Rick Deckard. The film is written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, and succeeds the initial story by Fancher and David Peoples based on Philip K. Dick’s novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. Story details are not being revealed.
Dreaming into UK cinemas October 6, 2017
