Set against the serene beauty of Texas Hill Country, A Game in the Woods follows a thrilling yet harrowing escape from the darkest side of human nature. Ash, her girlfriend Sam, and cousin Ted head to their family’s rural cabin for what they assume will be a relaxing getaway and a chance to bond while sifting through family heirlooms. Unbeknownst to them, they’re about to stumble upon a horrifying world—a deadly hunting ground where sadistic, masked hunters trap, torture, and kill people for sport.

The tranquil scenes of the woods quickly devolve into a nightmarish struggle for survival when Ash and her companions discover bloodied remains, and masked figures emerge to hunt them. Each member of this gruesome club, led by the sinister master only known as The Game Warden, treats human lives as nothing more than prey in a twisted game. Sam and Ash find themselves targeted, bound, and brutalized, while The Game Warden taunts them, orchestrating a deadly “game” in which the only way out is through cunning and pure grit.

When Ash realizes her family’s land has long been rented out as a playground for these brutal hunters, her horror transforms into rage and determination. Ash’s survival instinct pushes her to adapt to this savage world, as she becomes a force of resistance against the hunters. Facing off against a series of masked killers, each deadlier than the last, she uses their own tools and traps against them in a brutal bid to survive.

The story crescendos into an intense showdown that reveals shocking secrets, explores the depths of human resilience, and questions the nature of morality in the face of unspeakable evil. A Game in the Woods is a relentless thriller where the serene woods mask an unholy battleground
