With only a short time to go before the new version of Macbeth hits the silver screen in the UK. This means that we are getting a new set of information for the film. This time it’s a new set of posters. They show, again, the Lord and Lady Macbeth.
This time, it seems to show our leads at a time before all the mischief happens between them and gaining power.
Is there love there? Is it just the Lady’s lust for power. Her husband is just confused. He doesn’t realise what is about to happen. In a way they are a lot sadder than the other posters that we have seen. They show what happens after the change.
Whatever the posters show, this is going to be one of the Shakespeare adaptations that people will be talking about for decades to come. It’s up there with Kenneth Branagh’s version of Henry V.
