Director, Steve Nesbitt – “Gloves Off is a comedy drama with genuine dilemmas and obstacles to overcome. The characters are complex, their relationships involved and fraught, but the laughs come with a seasoning of slapstick and satire, mixed with tonal performance-based humour.

I wanted it to have easy to watch editing to welcome our viewers into a world of familiarity and belonging.

Lead Actor & Co-Writer, Brad Moore “Gloves Off is a piece of entertainment but it also represents to me what people can achieve when they pull together and pride kicks in.

CEO, Boxing Futures, Anthony York “We’re delighted to be the charity partner for the Premier of Gloves Off. As a small fish in a big pond, punching above our weight, the theme resonates with Boxing Futures strongly. Fighting against the odds, sticking together and rolling with the punches, for a common goal.
