Peter Parker has a message

Sitting down to write about the 2nd in the current re-boot of Spider-man, I’m filled with a little bit of dread as I lost track of the stories after the lack-lustre 2nd outing of Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst about a decade ago. A film that did go on to make stupid amounts of money but with the way that films had been going, a sure-fire hit is to get a cartoon character and do some films about them.

Peter Parker has only 3 Days to wait until the Worldwide Trailer Launch

It doesn’t seem to show you much from the teaser, of a teaser, trailer apart from Spider-Man can fall from great height and then swing across town using his webs – Par for the franchise…

So sit back and wait for even more frantic plugging for the trailer over the next couple of days until the launch and all fans will wet themselves with fanboy, and maybe the odd fangirl, glee whilst the more cynical of us will go woot! Then try and get excited about it.

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
