Fasten your seatbelts as Black Panther, Deadpool 2 and Orange is the New Black stars lead the blockbuster line up for MCM Comic Con’s pop culture return to London

Celebrating the latest and greatest in geeky goodness for fans, MCM London Comic Con will bring an action-packed weekend of pop culture to ExCeL London, on 25-27 May – featuring everything from comics, movies, games and sci-fi to cosplay, anime, steampunk and online video.

We’re really excited to open the doors of the first MCM London Comic Con of 2018 – not only will we play host to a range of exclusive activations from major entertainment brands, but we’ll be delivering incredible panels for the fans to enjoy across the weekend,” says Josh Denham, MCM London Event Manager.

Leading MCM’s special guest line up this weekend are Black Panther’s Letitia Wright, Lucifer’s Tom Ellis, The Defenders’ Rosario Dawson, Khary Payton and Cooper Andrews from The Walking Dead, and ‘Queen of Geek’ Felicia Day.

Ready for a jail break this May, Orange is the New Black stars Taryn Manning and Jackie Cruz are escaping Litchfield Penitentiary to meet fans of the prison-set comedy drama. Joining them over the weekend, stars of superhero sequel Deadpool 2 – Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapičić will be going behind the scenes of the off-the-wall movie.

Michael Biehn (Aliens, The Terminator) will also be joining MCM, alongside Kevin Conroy (famous for portraying Batman in classic ‘90s cartoon Batman: The Animated Series), Taylor Gray (Star Wars Rebels), Tara Sands (Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Overwatch heroes Lucie Pohl and Gaku Space. More guest announcements are being teased out to fans over the coming weeks, so watch this space!

EXCLUSIVE to MCM: London Comic Con and following critical acclaim and record-breaking audiences on Sky One, Stan Lee’s Lucky Man is bringing cast members James Nesbitt, Sienna Guillory and Stephen Hagan to the show for a live Q&A and never before seen screening of the first episode of the drama’s third season!

MCM Comic Con are welcoming six of the cult favourite sitcom Arrested Development’s wonderfully dysfunctional Bluth family who will be taking over Saturday’s MCM Main Stage at 15:00. Join Will Arnett (GOB), Jessica Walter (Lucille), Michael Cera (George Michael), Alia Shawkat (Maeby), Tony Hale (Buster), and the one son who had no choice but to keep them all together – Jason Bateman (Michael).

Cast members from Roman comedy Plebs, Tom Rosenthal (Marcus), Ryan Sampson (Grumio) and Jonathan Pointing (Jason) along with writer/director Sam Leifer and writer Tom Basden, who also plays waterboy/man Aurelius, will be giving us the inside scoop on ITV2’s award-winning series, currently in its fourth season.

“We’ve been speaking directly to our fans and are focused on delivering the best experience they want – with more cosplay, more comics and more content – this will be the best one yet!” adds Denham.

Planning an MCM London heist, Grand Theft Auto V’s three main stars of the best-selling videogame; Ned Luke, Shawn Fonteno and Steven Ogg will at the show meeting fans.

Voice acting superstars David Hayter, Jennifer Hale, Jim Cummings, Jess Harnell, James Arnold Taylor and April Stewart are taking to the stage as Twisted Toonz to perform Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets live on stage – a version of the boy wizard’s adventures that you’ll never forget! (Think Darth Vader portrayed by Winnie the Pooh, Harry Potter by Christopher Walken or Frodo and Sam by Pinky & the Brain!)

Making Comic Village their home at MCM London this May, special guests Liam Sharp, Cullen Bunn, Ken Lashley, Geof Darrow, Matteo Scalera and Conor McCreery will be among the hyper-talented comic creators meeting fans.
